We developed a basic concept which would include 16-20 youth workers from each of the participating countries. The concept is a combination of four different types of activities, all focusing on the above mentioned priority theme.

The target group are persons directly working with young people in suburban areas Participating countries:

* 4 Large Cities: Vienna, Berlin. Derry/Londonderry, Helsinki.
* Main content: Exchange of Best Practice Models in Youth Work in suburban areas. Development of new ideas.
* General structural idea: 16-20 persons from each City take part. Each city nominates a coordinator

active participation of young people living in suburban and marginalized areas. The final conference will take place in Berlin in May 2009.
